By size, deep groove ball bearings can be categorized as miniature (outer diameter < 26mm), small (28–55mm), medium (60–115mm), large (120–190mm), extra large (200–430mm), and extra-extra large (over 440mm), covering applications from precision instruments to heavy machinery.
Bearing manufacturing is a precision process involving multiple steps, often utilizing forming and grinding technologies to achieve micron-level dimensional accuracy, ensuring smooth rotation and long service life.
Common installation methods include press-fit and heat-fit. Press-fit uses a sleeve to protect the bearing from direct impact; heat-fit simplifies tight-fit assembly by utilizing thermal expansion and contraction, with the heating temperature controlled below 100°C to prevent material tempering and performance degradation.
